CAREER/PROFESSIONAL

What do you love about your job: I love the people I work with and the clients whom we serve in the community.  We have so many wonderful people doing incredible things in our community.  It's a pleasure to be able to support them, and in turn, our Northwest Arkansas community.

What do you love about working for your employer: Flintco has an incredible culture that inspires personal growth, a commitment to success, and a commitment to positively contributing to our community.  It's a pleasure to wake up every day and work side-by-side with our amazing team.

What are you most proud of in your career: I'm most proud of continuing to pursue my education while working and raising my children. I think it's valuable for your children to see that through hard work and commitment you can positively impact your life and achieve your goals.

One piece of career advice you would give: For other women, I would encourage that they be purposeful in their career path - never settle because it's easy or because you don't think you can do more.

PERSONAL

Favorite outdoor activities: I enjoy anything on water - boating, fishing, swimming, tubing, etc.

Dream job: I would have loved to have been a fiction author or the keeper of a private island.

What’s something most people don’t know about you: I’m dying to go to a Noodling competition!

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you want with you: toilet paper, sunscreen, and a stationary set

Karen's message to the chapter:  The NWA NAWIC Chapter is made up of some amazing women.  I've enjoyed getting to know all of them over the past several months and can't wait to continue learning and growing with the chapter!
